Prayer Request

A dear friend, Jackie, had knee replacement surgery on the 20th which went well. That Thursday, she had a stroke, some paralysis on her right side and she couldn't speak, but they anticipated a full recovery. I just found out she's had another stroke and is intensive care and is non responsive.

Sadness

My friend Jackie passed away. I'm sad because she was such a neat person. She always had a ready smile and hug. But what really breaks my heart is thinking about her mother and my friend Kathy. Jackie was Kathy's best friend. She lived with her mom. If her passing has left a void in my life and I really wasn't that close to her, what is it doing to them? Pat says Kathy hasn't left the hospital and wasn't taking phone calls. Please pray for her mom, Elinor and Kathy.

Some good news

With all the sadness of today, one, okay several, but I'm only talking about one here, good thing happened. I got the laptop I ordered. YaY!!!!!! I have named her Callie, but I did think about adding Jackie as well somewhere. I think she would have liked that.
