Paperwork has been signed. Money has changed hands. Tentative helpers have been enlisted in moving things Saturday.

I own a home. A townhome to be precise.

This is not exactly a new thing as I do own the house I'm living in now. But the house I live in now was always intended to be temporary, one way or another. The new house is permanent.

Still have to get packing done and things major and minor bought and scheduled for delivery. It's really going to happen though. I ... just ... wow ... neat!

It is. I am most pleased. And I think the best part is, since the weather is going to be rainy and nasty here Saturday, the friend who was going to help me move, is drafting someone and doing everything Monday. Isn't that a wonderful Christmas present?
