I've long held the belief that cats communicate. Across great distances even. The main communication being that I'm the human to look for if they need taking care of. I've got two of the little darlings of my own and two cats that I feed at the office on a daily basis. (And God help me if I miss a day of work.)

When I got home last night, there are two orange cats sitting in my driveway. And they don't want to move even with the car getting closer. They do eventually, but not very far. As I'm getting my stuff out of the car, I'm chatting with them because I do. A gray tabby cat comes out of no where and scares off the lighter of the two cats while the other just stands there.

Much later, I hear my oldest cat make this godawful noise and I, the little cat and the dog run into the kitchen where Arthur is. He's staring out the window and who should be out there but darker orange cat. I manage to scare him off just by showing up. Then my cats almost get into a real fight and Ashley is hissing up a storm when she gets near the window.

(See this is why I hardly ever post. My life is boring.)

While I'm here, I'd like to ask for prayers for my sister church. They are undergoing a lot of changes right now and will be, probably for the rest of the year. This is going to have an effect on my church as well. It's going to be a good thing in the end, but getting there is painful all ready. Understanding, acceptance, trust in God and each other and the church hierarchy is greatly needed.

No one likes change, especially when it's something as emotional as your home church.
