ruthi73 and enigmaticblues congratulations on graduating. It's a wonderful accomplishment, so enjoy.
Update on my friend G, who had open heart surgery about six weeks ago: He was doing well enough to come to church today and play piano. He still has a lot of recovering to do, three more weeks before he can drive and he still has rehab to go through. But he looks really good and is in excellent spirits.
We had a really long meeting at church today. Not finance or admin, thank goodness. Those were thankfully short. We're a small church and we are going through a rough patch right now. It was a planning meeting to figure out how we can keep from getting any smaller. It was a good meeting, very positive all the way around, which I had been worried wouldn't be the case. Well, there was some frustration, but it stayed contained.
