Sassy

It was a week yesterday when I brought Sassy home. She's settled in pretty well. She stayed under the couch for about 24 hours, but she's made herself quite at home since then. She loves playing with her teaser toy and the little rattle balls. I got her a new cat tower which she has deigned with her presence, but hasn't really hung out on too much. Though she has destroyed the dangling ball to swat around. I'm just hoping that is where all the stuffing fluff is from and not from somewhere under the couch.


Finally gets out of the carrier, after I set it on the floor and not the coffee table, and goes straight for the books before finding the couch.


She loves to play.




And she hasn't quite decided I'm furniture. Yet.



Sorry for the size and the lousy quality. But hey, there she is. I'm thinking about getting another kitty fairly soon. I think I'm going to ask about this one. Seems like she could use a friend and Sassy does need a playmate.

She really looks as if she is settling in. I love the on the shelf picture, especially as I had to study it hard to spot her.

And Biscuit looks as if she would be an excellent companion for her.

I'm glad you think so about Biscuit. Sassy actually purred this morning. Twice! I don't know if she'll ever be a cuddle kitty, but I'm honored with the attention she gives me. No kitty kisses, but she has nibbled very gently on fingers a couple of times.

She really is. She's definitely been making me smile a laugh a lot this past week. I've emailed about Biscuit this morning, so she may have a feline friend before long.
