This has been weighing on my heart, so I thought I'd share.
A dear lady from church passed away last Sunday. She'd been battling cancer, but she died of pneumonia caused by the chemo. She's in a much better place and everyone is happy she's no longer suffering, but she's missed.
My pastor has a dear friend who used to be a student of hers. Her friend has leukemia and has been taken off the transplant list. She doesn't have very long. She just turned 35 yesterday and has a son and daughter. The son will be living with an uncle, but she doesn't know where her daughter, 13, will be. Pastor's friend and her daughter came to visit church once. They were very nice.
And Sundary will be the 8th anniversary of my father's passing. I hate September.
