Katrina Volunteers

If anyone in the Houston area is interested in volunteering, St. Luke's UMC is coordinating all volunteers for the people coming in to stay at the Astrodome. You can e-mail mfirenza@stlukes-hou.org or call 713-402-5091. They are looking for help in 12-hour shifts for possibly the next 5 weeks.

You're welcome. Where are you? You could try checking with some of the local churches. They should have information about local relief efforts.
